President Droupadi Murmu visited Sevagram Ashram, the residence of Mahatma Gandhi and a key centre of India’s freedom movement, located in Wardha district. Various huts including Adi Niwas, Ba Kuti, Bapu Kuti and Gandhiji’s office, offered a glimpse into the simple and disciplined life Bapu led. The President paid her respects to Bapu and Ba, and planted a sapling in the Ashram reflecting her commitment to sustainability.
